What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the forms on this site we receive what you type: your name, company, position, email address, phone number (if you give one), your preferred contact method and the service you asked about. For accommodation enquiries we also receive your check-in and check-out dates and your answer to whether the stay is 28 nights or more. We also record which page the enquiry came from.
We do not ask for payment details through these forms.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use these details to reply to your enquiry and to prepare a quote or proposal. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business and replying to people who contact us. We do not use the enquiry form for marketing and we do not sell your data.
Who receives it
Our website and enquiry system are provided by Wix.com Ltd and its group companies, who act as our processors: they host the site, store enquiries in a contact record and send us a notification email. Emails we exchange with you pass through our email provider. We do not share your enquiry with anyone else unless the law requires it, or you ask us to.
Where your data is processed
Wix operates internationally. Your data may be hosted and processed in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Israel and the United States, and through a global network of content delivery and cloud regions. Transfers outside the UK rely on adequacy regulations or the Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK addendum where required).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to keep reasonable business records, and then delete or anonymise them. If you would like us to delete your enquiry sooner, tell us.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email hello@bucklehole.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
